You can make strawberry barfis in quite a many ways. You can make with just khova or paneer. This is one of the easiest recipes, you can replace strawberries with any other fruits of your choice like mangoes or pineapples..The choice is yours. These strawberry barfis taste just amazing. It stays fresh for a week. Keep experimenting.
Ingredients:
1. Gram flour: 1 cup
2. Sugar: 1 3/4 cups
3. Cashew or Almond powder: 1/2 cup
4. Ghee: 1 1/2 cups
5. Strawberry pulp: 1 cup
Preparation:
Wash the strawberries and make a fine puree. Powder the cashews or Almonds.
Procedure:
1. Take 1/2 cup ghee in a pan. (Keep the remaining ghee separately)
2. Put the gram flour and fry for a minute.
3. Put off the flame. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
4. Cook on a slow flame stirring continuously. It may take about 20 mins.
5. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, mix vigourously so that it should not stick to the bottom.
6. Transfer the mixture to a greased plate. Allow it to cool for sometime and cut into dasired shape and sizes.
