Whenever i ate veg nuggets, potato wedges or smilies, i used to wonder how do they make it? Not very difficult.
Potato is such a versatile vegetable! Whether you bake it, boil it, fry or just mash it. It tastes just awesome. Potato is not bad at all as some people portray. If taken in moderation, it's good.
Ok friends, try this ...I know, you are going to fall in love with this snack. And you will be surprised to see the number of ingredients.
Ingredients:
1. Potatoes: 250 gms
2. Corn flour: 2 tbsps (or more to get a stiff dough)
3. Processed cheese: 2 tbsps
4. Red chilli flakes: 1/2 tsp
5. Dried oregano: 1 tsp
6. Salt to taste.
7. Oil for deep frying.
Preparation:
Boil the potatoes and peel them.
Procedure:
1. Mash the potatoes.
2. Put all the ingredients, mix well to form a stiff dough. Do not add water. You can put more corn flour to get stiff dough.
3. Roll like thick chapatis or make small balls.
4. Cut into desired shape with the help of a cookie cutter and deep fry till crisp.
5. Serve with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.
