Mango Jelly or Aam papad

We can make at home easily with only "Two" ingredients. This is peak summer time and a feast for mango lovers. You can get varieties of mangoes now. And this is the time we prepare varieties of pickles, jams and preserves out of mangoes.
Today, I am going to teach you the easiest recipe of mango jellies which is loved by all, without using any chemicals or preservatives because, sugar acts as a preservative and of course the sunlight.
These aam papads are very popular in west Bengal, Bihar and uttar pradesh. It is fondly called as Aam shotto in west Bengal.
Believe me, this is the simplest recipe for making jellies. You can make any fruit jelly by following these simple steps.
Ok friends, let's make Aam papads.

Ingredients:
1. Mangoes: 1 kgs
2. Sugar: 1/2 kgs

Preparation:
Peel the mangoes and make a puree.

Procedure:
1. Pour the mango puree and sugar in a clean and dry pan.
2. Cook on a slow to medium heat for about 20-30 mins or till the mixture thickens.
3. Put off the fire and mix well.
4. Spread evenly on a greased plate and keep it in sunlight for two to three days.
5. Remove the dried Jelly carefully.
Cut them to desired shapes and sizes.
6. Keep them in a airtight container, preferably in the refrigerator and enjoy the mangoes throughout the year.
