Onion samosa

This lip smacking recipe needs no introduction. Onion samosas are slightly different from the regular samosas.
No, it is not just about the filling but there's a south Indian touch to it.
There is nothing like a hot samosa with a piping hot cup of coffee or masala chai with your favourite novel on a rainy day. I call this pure indulgence..what do you say?
Come, let's make onion samosas.
Ingredients:
1. Onions: 5-6 nos
2. Samosa patti or pastry sheets: 20 sheets
3. Cumin powder: 1 tsp
4. Coriander powder: 1 tsp
5. Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
6. Fresh coriander: one small bunch
7. Poha: Half cup
8. Oil for deep frying.
9. Salt to taste.

Preparation:
Take thick variety poha and make a coarse powder.
Thinly slice the onions.
Mix maida and water to make a thin paste.
Procedure:
For the filling:
1. Take 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
2. Put sliced onions and saute.
3. Fry till onions turn translucent.

Coriander leaves. Mix well. Allow to cool.

fill it with the mixture. Fold it like a
Triangle or a samosa and secure the edges
With the help of water and maida mixture
