FIVE MINUTE RECIPES


Five minute recipes:

Ridge gourd subzi(Heerekayi palya)

Ingredients:
Ridge gourd: 500 gms
Tomato: Two medium sized
Green chillies: 4 to 5
Oil: 2 tbsp
 Jeera: 1 tsp and red chilli powder.

Procedure:
1.chop the ridge gourds, Julienne  the tomatoes and keep aside.
2.Take oil in a pan.put jeera and green chillies saute.
3.Put the ridge gourds.cover and cook until soft.
4.Put turmeric,red chilli powder,salt and tomato juliennes.Mix well.
5.Add salt and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rotis.

💡tip : You can add a spoon of channa dal and urad dal for crunchiness



Methi Baingan Ki Sabzi

 Sounds weird?? Even I felt the same when I tasted it for the first time. But believe me, this is one of the easiest and yummy jhat pat recipes i know. And it tastes good too!!!! So why don't you try it once? I am sure that you will not regret it. So let's make it....
Ingredients:
1. Brinjals - 250gms 
2. Fresh mathi leaves - 2 cups 
3. Slit green chillies - 2/3 
4. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp 
5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 
6. Salt to taste 
7. Oil for deep frying 

Procedure:
1. Cut the brinjals into small triangles and deep fry them. 
2. Finely chop the methi leaves.
3. Take 2 tsp of oil and put jeera along with slit green chillies. 
4. Put methi leaves and fry for a minute. Put deep fried brinjals and all the dry ingredients.
5. Mix well. Add salt and serve hot with phulkas.
