Nachos with salsa

Hi friends! How are you? Hope you are all soaking in the winter sun and enjoying the chilly weather.
How about some chips? There is nothing like a bowl of chips and chai with a beautiful novel, relaxing on the couch. 
Hmm...sounds awesome right? I know sometimes we feel lazy to go out to buy chips and goodies. It's better to make at home. I am always on the lookout for easy and jhatpat recipes. Nowadays, kids demand for variety and they are very difficult to please. So we should find novel ways to impress them with varieties of food, at the same time we should make sure that it's healthy. It is ideal for snack break for kids and of course, us. Let's make this very popular Mexican snack, Nachos.
Ingredients
Nachos:
1. Maize flour: 1 cup
2. All purpose flour: 1cup
3. Olive oil or butter: 1tbsp
4. Salt
5. Chilli flakes : 1/2 tsp
6. Oregano: 1/2 tsp.
Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients and add water little by little to make a stiff dough.
2. Keep covered for 30 mins.
3. Roll it out nicely like thin rotis.
4. Cut into triangles, prick with fork and deep fry till crisp.
5. Serve with salsa.
(Keep them in an airtight container)

Recipe for salsa dip:
Ingredients:
1. Tomatoes: 4 nos
2. Red Bell pepper: 1 no
3. Tomato ketchup: 2tbsp
4. Jalapeno or Green chilly: 1no
5. Lemon juice: 1 tbsp
6. Coriander leaves: 1 small bunch
Preparation:
Roast and peel Tomatoes and red bell peppers by keeping them directly on the flame. (You can peel once it is cooled)
Chop them finely.
Finely chop the onions, chillies and coriander leaves.
Procedure:
Mix all the ingredients. Add salt and sugar according to your taste.
Serve with Nachos and you can garnish with grated cheese.
