Home made eggless mayonnaise and spread
Mayonnaise. A dish which brings a frown upon the faces of all diet - freaks. Something associated with fat, grease, and a stepping stone to being overweight. As tasty as it is, it is equally fattening ; unless, you prepare it at home! Making mayonnaise at home sounds next to impossible to most, but I'm here to make it easier and naturally, healthier. You can use it while making Burgers, sandwiches or as a dip. In this recipe, I have used both butter and olive oil. You can use only olive oil. And you can replace all purpose flour with whole-wheat flour. So, Happy cooking.. Ingredients: 1. All purpose flour or Maida: 2 tbsps 2. Butter: 2tbsps 3. Milk: 2 cups 4. Mustard powder: 1/2 tsp 5. Chilli flakes: 1/4 tsp 6. Tomato ketchup: 2 tbsps 7. Finely chopped mix vegetables: 1 cup 8. Salt to taste 9. Olive oil: 3-4 tbsps. Preparation: Finely chop all the vegetables.
