Holi is round the corner and you people must be thinking of novel ways to treat your friends and family with exotic stuff. What better way than to treat your loved ones with fresh fruits!! You must be wondering what's so special about serving fresh fruits? You can make fruit salad, fruit chat, fruit juice...what else? Today i have come up with a refreshing recipe to beat the heat. Believe me, this is one of the best ways to serve fruits. You can make sorbet with any fruit of your choice, like papayas, strawberries, musk melons and even watermelons..... Today I am going to teach you water melon sorbet and Banana sorbet!! Yes.. you heard it right; Banana sorbet... sounds weird right? But its taste is just as refreshing and enjoyable! Palak paneer is a very tasty and healthy accompaniment to roti, paratha, kulcha and other Indian Breads. Palak or spinach and paneer make a very good combination with simple spices and fresh ingredients. This is mainly a punjabi dish and a very popular restaurant side dish. Without much ado, Let's make palak paneer. Ingredients: 1.P alak or spinach: one big bunch 2. Paneer or cottage cheese: 200 gms 3. Green chillies:  2 nos 4. Garam masala: 1/2 tsp 5. Kasoori Methi or dried fenugreek                leaves: 1/4 tsp 6. Onions:  3 nos 7. Tomatoes:  3 nos 8. Fresh cream: 2 tbsp 9. Red chilli powder: 1 tsp 10. Salt to taste 11. Butter or oil: 2 tbsp 12: Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp. Preparation: Blanch the spinach leaves. Drain out water and immediately pour ice cold water on them. This prevents further cooking of spinach. Bhel puri is one of the most popular chatpata tea time savoury snack. Because Bhel puri is low in calories, it is loved by all. Bhel puri was a popular chat in Mumbai, now it has reached most parts of India, where it has been modified to suit the local palette. Bhel puri is usually made with puffed rice or kurmura and sev. However, You can make your own recipe by using cornflakes instead of puffed rice. If you have sweet chutney and mint chutney, you can make bhel puri in a jiffy. Sabudana or Tapioca pearls or sago or sabbakki is used all over India to make varieties of dishes, especially during or breaking fasts during religious festivals as it is rich in carbohydrates and it gives instant energy. Sabudana vada or patties is a very popular tea time snack in many parts of India. You can enjoy these vadas with ketchup, chutney or as burger patties. And not to forget vada pav. These vadas are made with soaked sago. You can soak the sago in advance and can easily be stored in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days. Let's make these yummy and crispy sabudana vadas. Ingredients: 1. Sabudana or sago: 200 gms 2. Potatoes: 3-4 nos 3. Peanuts: 1/4 cup 4. Gram flour: 1 tbsp(optional) 5. Green chillies: 4-5 6. Grated Coconut: 1 cup(you can reduce the quantity by half) 7. Khasta kachori is one of the most popular snack of North India. Most probably chat culure started with these humble Kachoris and samosas. Khasta means "crisp" or karara. There are many varieties of kachoris. Some are soft like puris and usually eaten with alu sabzi or any accompaniment, or just chutney. That is why i have mentioned Khasta Kachori. What can i say about Masala Dosa?? This mouth watering and hugely popular south Indian snack;....no.."staple food" has gained popularity throughout the world. Every hotel and home in south India has a different and secret recipe for dosa. Dosas are synonymous with South India. Nowadays every nook and cranny has a Dosa shop and they make their own version of "Dosa"  I grew up in Mysore, savouring the finest dosas made by my mother. I am very happy to share this recipe with you all.  And once in a while, my father used to take us to restaurants and we sisters would always buy the same, yet legendary dosas.
